Winton Smith | licensed architect | licensed general contractor

Winton Smith has been in the construction industry since 1981. He has worked in fields ranging from contract negotiation to field administration. He is experienced with program and project development, master planning, and project budgeting, design management, bidding strategies, construction management and owner move-in.

In addition to serving as principal in charge, senior project manager, Winton Smith has also been owner representative, contractor and consultant on projects. This range of roles gives him an understanding of the challenges facing the members of a project team. This advantage has resulted in successfully completing projects on time and under budget. In addition, he is adept in human relations and client contact. Winton Smith can grasp complicated challenges and then apply practical knowledge, enabling him to coordinate and manage multiple or complex projects. Projects have ranged in size from 1 million to 200 million. Much of the work throughout Indian Country.

After 24 years in the corporate world, climbing the ladder, Winton Smith left and started a small private practice of design and construction, URI, LLC. 

Winton Smith currently enjoys helping people on much smaller projects, from residential remodels, additions and custom homes.

Winton Smith enjoys his family more now than ever. Spends quality time with his lovely bride and participates with his kids, age 13 and 11, as basketball coach and golf coach.
