TRACY LINDSEY is a professional decorative painter and fine artist. He has studied and practiced his craft for more than two decades, having taken his first decorative painting class at the Finishing School on Long Island, New York in the early 1980’s. As a decorative painter, he specializes in mural work, trompe l’oeil, classic faux finishes (marbling and woodgraining), sky ceilings, and decorative wall finishes.
Since 1999 Tracy has been a member , by invitation (juried process), of the prestigious International Salon of Decorative Painters a professional organization maintaining the highest of standards in the field of decorative painting. In the fall of 2007, Tracy was one of sixty decorative artists from the US and Europe invited to be featured at The Meeting of The Masters held in Dallas,Texas, and sponsored by Faux Effects International. As a fine artist, Tracy has studied with Atlanta artist, Sarah Brown (Who’s Who In Art), since the early 1980’s. In fine art, his work includes commissioned paintings in landscape, figurative work, and portraiture.
Tracy is currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia as a full service decorative painting studio for both residential and commercial work . He is also available for private instruction in specific areas of decorative painting.
In addition to his painting career, Tracy is a professional singer (trained tenor) performing a variety of musical styles including: opera, Broadway, and classic standards.
