Tony Evangelista, M.B.A.

Tony founded Verihelion after spending a year developing the patent-pending business model.  His responsibilities include business development efforts, including worldwide opportunities, sourcing, acquisitions and identification of strategic growth opportunities as well as the broad spectrum of activities associated with capital generation and long term strategy.

Tony created the idea for Verihelion, through his work at Wallace Lighthouse Consulting Group, as a solution to the fractured and wasteful nature of international trade.  In this capacity he designed a US operational model, identified key opportunities, hired/trained employees and developed a strategic plan for long term growth.  This pattern is repeatable, scalable and will lead to reduced friction and waste.

Prior to his foray into international business, Tony was part of “Bob’s Army” (Bob Nardelli) at The Home Depot and served as a successful store manager.  “Bob’s Army,” the Store Leadership Development Program, hired a small group of high potential business candidates, selected from over 300,000 applicants.

Tony entered the corporate arena after serving as an Officer in the US Navy and an Airman in the US Air Force.  As a Navy Reservist he was recalled to active duty and is a veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, serving in Djibouti, Africa.

Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the US Air Force Academy and holds a Master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University, in Shreveport.  He is also a graduate of the US Naval War College Command and Staff College and holds a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
