Tony Fountain began his career in Financial Services in 1992 after

graduating from North Georgia Senior Military Academy with a BBA in Finance as a NASD registered representative for NYLife Securities and an insurance agent for New York Life. While there, he continued on in graduate school at Mercer University where he obtained a MBA in Management. Shortly after, he went to work at WMA Mortgage services where is was a compliance supervisor

and processing center manager responsible for 65 centers nationwide.

He was recruited internally by the broker/dealer where he began as a senior auditor and worked his way to Regional Compliance Officer responsible for 1,100 representatives and over 100 branches.

After several years, AXA recruited Tony to supervise the Quality Assurance department for the North American Investment Advisor’s Initiative. There, he consistently exceeded quota by 400% and reported trend analysis and pattern recognition to the Policy Advisory Committee in NY.

After a year and a half, Tony went on to run an eastern seaboard

broker/dealer as VP of Sales and Chief Compliance officer for Dempsey Financial Network.  There he turned the B/D which was the loss leader to the fastest growing department in the company in six months.

After another year, their leading competitor BISYS, recruited him away to work in the Atlanta sales office. There, he managed several large accounts from a wholesale perspective including Suntrust and LPL.

Currently, Tony is one of the Co-Founders and Partners of Capitol City Advisory Group, Inc. and is a partner at Capitol City Financial Group, LLC out of Atlanta. He is also a co-founder and Partner at Echo Advisory Group, LLC a RIA doing business in the southeast.
