EDUCATION AND WORK
Stephen graduated in August of 2008 from Ohio University with a bachelor's in History and an English minor. During his college years Stephen was involved in ACRN (All Campus Radio Network) in which he spent 4 years as a mobile DJ and played for cancer walks, student organizational functions, formals, football pregames, dining halls, and house parties. He also took part in many intramural sports such as softball, football, basketball, and soccer. Throughout college Stephen worked as part of the stage crew for the Blackburn Auditorium and helped set up the different shows, concerts, and events that came through Ohio University and the OU Events program. Stephen also worked part time at Nelson Dining Hall for the last year of school. Brick City Djs which was a company Stephen and two other friends put together that provided Dj services for student and even faculty functions. Stephen has also took part in a 3 week Dale Carnagie motivational and leadership class in Atlanta Georgia.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Stephen had been playing music ever since he was eleven years old. He has studied and written percussion pieces. He has learned to play drumset, timpanies, xylophone, jambai and bongo drums, as well as steel drums. Since a sophmore in high school Stephen has taught himself guitar and has performed at places such as the Boom Boom Room in Canton Ohio, Red Brick in Athens Ohio, and The Cabaret in Atlanta Georgia where he recently recorded with Modern Drummers own Mike Haid.
