Sharon Fitzgibbon

I am a proud member of the Baby Boomer Generation. I was born and raised in Houston Texas. I was part of the first full four year graduating class of the new Robert E Lee High School

I left Houston and moved to Ft Worth Texas to fly for Central Airlines. After a year with Central I interviewed and was hired by Eastern Airlines.

I was based in New York and Miami from Jan 1967 to Nov 1971. During my

Almost five years with Eastern I was a Flight Attendant, an Initial Training Instructor, and I was lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the 12 Flight Attendants to travel the Eastern System, modeling the new uniform and appearing on local morning talk shows and other PR appearances for almost a year. We were the first Airline to have pants and pant suits for uniforms and that was News!

The whole PR program ended with an extravaganza at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC.

It included a luncheon and fashion show for 700 members of the press. Later that year

I traveled to England and South America to represent Eastern. I toured the English country with other representatives of the travel industry promoting travel in the US

In 1971 I married an Eastern Pilot, Jim FitzGibbon. We lived in Coral Gables Florida and had three of our four children. We moved to Atlanta in 1977 and had our fourth child and  that is where Jim and I  reside today.

Our children live in Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia. We have five grandchildren, three boys and two girls from 1 to 8 years old.

I went back to work for Eastern in 1986 as a Recurrent Training Instructor in Atlanta

I stayed there until right before the strike.

In 1994 I became a Manufacturers Representative and serviced the Eastern half of the

State of Georgia. In 1996 I started my own Rep Organization, FitzGibbon & Company,

Specializing in all natural personal care products, among them: Burt’s Bees, Badger, Indigo Wild and Watkins. I hired and trained a total of 14 reps who serviced the 7 Southeastern states. Over the years our company showed at the major Gift Marts in Atlanta, Miami, Orlando and Denver

In 2006 I became a Realtor in Georgia and today I am with Solid Source Realty
