Chief Wellness Officer

Dr. Ross A. Carter graduated Magna Cum Laude in June of 1996 from Life University. Dr. Carter is the chief wellness officer for Discover Family Wellness Center.

"It gives me great pride to help a person regain their health naturally, without the use of addictive drugs or dangerous surgery. I believe that taking the time to actually listen to a patient's health concerns, discuss possible sources of the problem, and provide solutions that target the source of the problem rather than the symptoms is a doctor's most important job. I find this concept lacking in today's 'modern medicine'".

In addition to running a healthcare facility, Dr. Carter's interest includes public speaking on a wide variety of health and wellness seminar topics. He has given lectures to many groups, organizations, and companies including: Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Kroger, Prudential Bank, Powerhouse Gym, Gold's Gym, Earth Link Communications, Duluth Police Force, Special Olympics, Dept. of Georgia Finance, Costco, over 20 various child care centers, as well as a continuing education teacher for the Gwinnett County School system.
