About Ronnie Segev

Ronnie Segev is the founder and pianist for classical music group,Ten O'Clock Classics. The group is based in New York City, New York,and strives to create a bridge between contemporary tastes and theclassical style and integrity, especially focusing on the younger population.

Ronnie Segev is a Juilliard School of Music Graduate. In addition tohis work with Ten O'Clock Classics, Segev enjoys a schedule of soloperformances and has been praised for his take on Chopin.

Most recently, the artists with Ten O'Clock Classics, as well astheir board of directors and financial benefactors, began theDirections Music Program. "Directions" is a non-profit organizationcreated for the purpose of providing excellent musical training andenrichment to underprivileged New York young people through freelessons and instruments. The creators of Directions believe music, inmany forms, is a key to creative and constructive development in theminds of children. When trained in music, students statisticallyperform better in mathematics. They learn the power of teamwork and howharmony is created with many voices working together. In addition, avalue for the dynamics and beauty of score travels with a child throughtheir lifetime, strengthening their ability to think creatively andovercome life's obstacles. Through Directions, Ronnie Segev and TenO'Clock Classics are giving the gift of music to last a lifetime.
