Rod Eckard is a Business Consultant with Dale Carnegie of Georgia, serving the Greater Atlanta Area. He provides consultation, instruction, and training to create performance-based business solutions that accelerate the development and success of the employees of his client companies. Rod was a Sales Achievement Award recipient at the 2005, 2006, and 2007 International Conventions. Also, Rod was recognized as one of the Top Ten Rookie Business Consultants in the world at the 2006 International Convention.

In addition to his role as a Business Consultant, Rod is also a Certified Dale Carnegie Instructor for the Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations Course. Currently, Dale Carnegie collaborates with many global and local companies, such as, Home Depot, Plymart, BMW, Computer Associates, ADT/Tyco, InterContinental Hotel Group, Center for Disease Control (CDC), Columbian Chemicals, INPO, and many others.

Prior to his association with Dale Carnegie, Rod enjoyed a professional sales career in a variety of industries, including soft drinks, financial printing, home building, and stock brokerage.

Rod received his B. S. degree from Western Carolina University and an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State.  Rod lives in Duluth and enjoys gardening, exercising, hiking and trips to the North Georgia and North Carolina mountains.
