Rocco Sinisgalli

 Who is Rocco Sinisgalli?

Devoted to helping the average American understand and better utilize energy, Rocco Sinisgalli is as unique as his last name.  As someone who never allows the word "no" to be entertained - or the idea of something that "can't be done" - he has been very successful forging forward with the creation of his company, Oneida Builders and Oneida Properties  and the television series, Going Green With Rocco.   Sinisgalli has been doing residential remodeling from Atlanta to hotels in San Juan, Puerto Rico - and is loving the satisfaction of his many enthusiastic customers.

Why Rocco?

Besides being a positive go-do-it kind of person, Rocco has a charisma that is engaging and captivating.  His passion for assembling a great project and the trust his clients have in him is evident from the first time you meet him and discuss what your needs are.  At some point, the talk will turn to how to most efficiently remodel - and there Sinisgalli shines again - with proficiencies in Energy Star and Earth Craft, plus he is a Master Craftsman Certified Graduate Remodeler and Certified green professional.  Rocco knows his way around green the way Bob Villa knows his way around DIY projects.

What Does Rocco Do?

Besides running the successful Oneida Builders and Properties, he has been cultivating a tv show, Go Green With Rocco, where he is becoming known as the Green Guru - a man who knows how to get the most efficient energy usage out of your home for you.  He is in talks with major manufacturers of green products, on down to smaller startups and Mom and Pops with strong offerings, to become an advocate and representative of the products they carry.  In his "spare time" Rocco serves as Chairman for the Greater Atlanta Remodelers Council.  Rocco is also pushing for legislation in the new stimulus bills being passed, that will provide tax incentives for homeowners, builders and remodelers who use energy saving tactics.  Many people speak of an "energy solution in the future" - but for Rocco, the future is not tomorrow - it is now.  Much of what he is doing is so far ahead of the curve; still, he hopes it will become standard practice as we realize what he already knows and all progress forward.

What Does Rocco Do For You?

If you're the Governor of Georgia, Mr. Purdue, Rocco wants to do a TV show that features a green makeover of your mansion - and demonstrate to everyone how we can ALL live in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.  For the rest of us, Rocco will take a realistic look at what he can do to help improve your home's energy efficiencies, from replacing inefficient appliances, reworking ductwork and even replacing roofing with local materials to reduce the travel needed to deliver the materials.  In the case of his 30 year old Dunwoody "remodeling project" home, (featured on Atlanta's Home and Style) the improvements made helped it boast 26% more efficient energy ratings than a new home built to current energy standards.  Remember, this was a 30 year old home!  Now, imagine what he could do for you - and your home.

When publications like the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and Today's Custom Home come to you as an authority on remodeling and green, you have to be doing something right.  When you are featured on Atlanta's Home and Style, as well as Fox 5 TV, you have charisma.  When you win silver and gold OBIE awards and are voted Chairman for the Greater Atlanta Remodelers Council two years in a row, your peers respect you.  Then, certainly, when your clients have so many great things to say about your kitchens, your baths, your sunrooms and porches and your basements and other additions, you know you've hit the sweetest spot - that of a satisfied, referring customer.

Outside of Work, Rocco Enjoys:

With Puerto Rico being his favorite place he's ever been, Rocco loves to travel.  He also is (maybe not surprisingly, given his vibrant personality) a thrill seeker, taking on bungee jumping and helicopter skiing.   He is someone who does not back down from challenges most others would likely not even consider - which makes him well rounded and ready for anything!
