Matthew A Klidjian | Atlanta, GA

Matthew Klidjian

Matthew started in the diamond industry with a large diamond wholesale house by servicing retail stores throughout the United States.  As he worked with these customers, he perceived the need to establish a niche jewelry company who could provide top quality jewelry for appreciable value.  Thus, Matthew founded Ascot Diamonds, Atlanta’s premier group of private jewelers.

Although Ascot has primarily grown through referrals, the company has recently gained a great deal of attention outside of their existing client circle as more and more people realize the value of having their own private jeweler.  Ascot’s well-earned reputation for world class design and craftsmanship under the brand Catherine Ryder is recognized around the country.  In fact, many clients refer to Ascot as one of the best kept gems in the city.

Matthew matches his passion for diamonds and jewelry with his other interests.  An avid sports fan, Matthew was the President of the Charleston-based South Carolina Stingrays early in his career when they won the East Coast Hockey League championship.  At the time, he was the youngest President of any North American professional sports team.  An avid musician, Matthew has a basement studio where he can often be found playing guitar, bass, drums and a variety of other instruments.  An avid outdoorsman, Matthew and his bride, Naomi, share a passion for snow skiing, water skiing, SCUBA diving and boating.  They are often escorted on their activities by their two dogs, Belle, a black Labrador retriever, and Stella, a beagle.
