Matt Salt

I am the co-founder and principal of The Langfords Group. We are a conference outsourcing company who offer consulting and full conference production services.(www.TheLangfordsGroup.com).

Just before founding The Langfords Group I was the publisher of FDAnews (www.fdanews.com). I joined FDAnews in July 2001 and had responsibility for all business aspects of the company. Prior to joining FDAnews, I was conference director for Financial Times Energy, based initially in their London office, and then the news-division headquarters in Arlington, VA. My responsibilities at FT Energy included managing conferences and tradeshows, both in the U.S. and internationally. Before that I worked for Euromoney and IBC in their London offices.

During my spare time I sit on the board of my local pool, High Point (www.highpointpool.net), and also help promote FIRSTfriday of Falls Church (www.firstfridayoffallschurch.com), a cummunity wide event promoting local businesses and the arts.

My wife, Wendy, and I also spend our weekends driving our three kids (Laura, Will and Charlie) around Northern Virginia to various sporting events. We moved to the US from the UK nine years ago.
