Lauren McGraw has achieved respect and confidence as someone you can count on, someone who's making a difference.  Lauren’s success and lifetime of experience is based on years of hard work, determination and a constant belief in herself.  Lauren's has a can do attitude and intuitive gift of knowing what's right or wrong.  Lauren McGraw’s instincts have served her well, knowing when to listen, when to lead and how to treat others.  

 

Today at age 20,  Lauren McGraw’s bio is a stellar example of an individual committed to improve and succeed.   Lauren acknowledges communications to be the cornerstone of success.   Lauren is comfortable delivering a speech to any size crowd, motivating groups with her leadership ability or communicating through her actions.   Lauren's ability to cross utilize her skills provides a message she's willing to undertake any challenge.

 

Lauren was recruited, introduced and employed in the service sector of our economy at a very young age.   Employers raved about Lauren’s leadership qualities, attention to detail and ability to interact with others.  Lauren McGraw's vibrant smile and contagious enthusiasm keeps her services in demand.  The financial success and early entry into the business world provided Lauren the opportunity to followed her entrepreneurial instincts by creating a number of service based companies complete with business cards at age 10, Lauren's Enterprises included babysitting, personal shopper, and customer service.   Lauren grew, developing additions position of employment as a youth counselor, special events coordinator, activities director among others all contributing in building a foundation of business success.

 

Lauren McGraw understands first and foremost the need to always respect others.  Lauren’s exceptional ability of personal interaction skills regardless of age or demographic opened the doors to a world of opportunities.

 

Giving is another quality of Lauren’s personal strengths.  For over 10 years she has been active in various charities including Special Olympics, American Business Women's Association, Susan G. Kolmen Foundation, American Cancer Society,  Angel's house (for battered children), the Coweta County Food Pantry and as a mentor through various local churches programs.  

 

In high school, Lauren McGraw served as the president of her school's honor council. She was also elected by her peers as the President of the Student Government, she varsity lettered in six sports, and was recognize and awarded for her oratorical skills. Lauren organized community service programs benefitting battered children, led the efforts supporting the “Can a Thon” which help the local Food Pantry as well as helping other charities.

 

Lauren McGraw graduated from The Heritage High School with Honors.   Lauren McGraw received the “Johnston Cup” one of the highest awards any graduating seniors can receive; traditionally given to a student excelling in community service, leadership, friendship, academics and athletics.  Lauren was selected the recipient of the Omni award which best exemplify what a student should be.

 

A member of Who's Who of high school students in America, a Hobie Award recipient, Lauren was also appointed by local officials as student representative to YLC program designed to develop leadership qualities needed for tomorrow Communities Leaders.

 

Lauren McGraw is well rounded and well spoken. 

 

To further her educational studies Lauren McGraw chose to attend High Point University.  From day one, Lauren McGraw has continued to work to distinguish herself on-campus as well as off.    Today Lauren’s entrepreneurial spirit sparkles, as a result of being selected a University Ambassador, serving as Campus Concierge, a Campus Fitness Instructor, a Resident Assistant,       

 Nursery Director at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, a Catering Executive for Stephens Restaurant, as a supervisor for the award winning company “Contemporary Catering” ,  as a Special Events Coordinator with international recognized events company “Tneve”,  as the youngest member of Camp La Jolla management team.  The camp is world renowned for its fitness benefits, and as a  Tutor for the Education Station in Guilford County Schools.  Lauren volunteers at Jamestown Methodist Church.   Lauren McGraw is a member of Zeta Tau Alph and is EC (Historian/ Reporter)

 

High Point University recognizing Lauren McGraw's efforts and contributions to the college recently awarded Lauren the distinguish honor of “Sophomore of the Year”.   The student body confirmed Lauren’s contributions and impact to the University by electing her President of the 2009 Junior Class. 

 

Poised and experienced Lauren McGraw continues to work to broaden her knowledge.  Lauren’s international experiences, political background, and business skills are enhanced daily by the outstanding education of High Point University.
