Kelly M. Thayer - Our Story

Hello, my name is Kelly Thayer and I bring more than 28 years of executive and entrepreneurial experience to the Direct Sales industry.

As the founder and CEO of Clear Image, Inc., a marketing and communications company from 1981 to 1998, I worked with over 200 companies and produced more than 700 films and videos, while duplicating more than 10,000,000 copies for clients in the direct sales and network marketing industries. For such clients as Sunrider, Melaleuca, Shaprite, 4Life, Reliv, Tupperware, Herbalife, Rexall, Jaffra, NuSkin, Bodywise, Avon and many others, we assisted them with marketing materials and managing growth.

In June of 1992, I was Named “Service Entrepreneur of the Year” by Inc. Magazine, Ernst & Young, and Merrill Lynch for the Rocky Mountain region, then featured on the cover of Inc. Magazine November of 1993.  I came to know and understand the direct selling industry and I made a career out of building marketing tools and servicing 15 of the top 20 Direct selling clients in the Direct Selling Association (DSA) during the 1990's.

Other clients included Delta Airlines, Polynesian Cultural Center, HealthRider, and King World Direct.

I was also featured in the October 1993 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine as one of their “40 Under 40” stories.

My greatest passion is my Family,  in business its working with others and building relationships with those that share the Entrepreneurial drive and focus that I share.

In 1990 Clear Image  was very instrumental in putting together one of the largest turnaround stories in direct sales with the industry giant, Herbalife.

I worked closely with Mark Hughes and Larry Thompson as we designed a campaign "Have you seen my Video" that turned the company around using a video to re-tell the Mark Hughes story. We later launched HBN the Herbalife Broadcast Network. They were faithful clients for 7 years, and I learned a great deal from the late Mark Hughes, who passed away in May of 2000.

Rexall Showcase International was not only a client for me but my first successful experience in having a down line organization in a company. I also played a role in the re-launch of this company. I was positioned as a founder in that company when I helped re-launch it in the fall of 1991 and was responsible for bringing on board new leaders to the company to start its new growth.

Today that company is known as Unicity International and continues to be a leader in the industry with organizations all over the world. The residual income that was created for my family over the next 18 years, allowed us to settle in Southern Utah and to have a comfortable life style.

In the mid-90’s, I began a partnership with Net Profit, one of the early pioneers in developing websites on the Internet. In 1999 I helped co-founded One World Online.com, a publicly traded company on Nasdaq, a first of its kind ISP program that rewards Internet service customers with rewards and incentives.

In July of 2000, tragedy struck our family when losing our youngest son Riley. Although a very difficult time for our family, life gives us experiences to grow from. This has been an amazing part of our journey as a family and we continue to learn.

In 2001, I resigned my position as Chairman of OneWorld Online. My wife and I  moved our family of four Children to southern Utah to live in a smaller community to begin rebuilding our family from this loss.

Having Nathan Ricks, a leader in Nu Skin, a friend and neighbor, I found myself wanting to build a new business with Pharmanex. This would be my first “in the trenches” experience building a Network Marking organizaion of leaders.

Over the years with Clear Image I had built a wonderful network of relationships.  I had come to know most of the top leaders of these  Network Marketing companies. Getting to know them and their talents, I learned skills and other important traits in working with people to build an organization. Lets just say I learned from some of the best!

For the next 3 years I worked hard to build this new sales organization in Pharmanex, making it my first real in the trenches experience building a down line of leaders and what a learning curve it was. However, in the spring of 2007, another leader in the company approached me and asked to buy my position. Being the entrepreneur that I am,  I negotiated a price and I sold (part of being a good businessman is identifying a great off ramp and  opportunity to Sell).

I will forever be grateful for the relationships I built and the leaders that I grew to respect from that experience. Thank you Nathan Ricks, Lon Wardrop and Dan McCormick.

I have made millions of dollars in this amazing industry we call Network Marketing. Both servicing the clients and having my own Down line organizations. We have been blessed as a family to enjoy a comfortable life style and the opportunity to give and  share with others.

Today I find myself ready to move forward and to start a new adventure.

NextFit (www.nextfit.com) is that new adventure. I see an opportunity with NextFit unlike anything I have ever seen before. This company has been 4 years in the making. They have built the largest audio Exercise library in the world. I was brought on board as a consultant back in May of 2008, to see if NextFit could work as a Network Marketing strategy. After spending many hours with Jeff Hays and Teri Sundh discussing whether or not their company NextFitness could be a good fit in the Network marketing channel, it became clear to me I was once again in the right place at the right time.

In April of 2009 we beta lunched , the “Keychain Trainer”. On October 9th 2009 we Pre-Launched NextFit.   I am the Master Distributor of this innovative company and I am grateful for the opportunity I will have to go and build one of the largest Fitness Network marketing companies on the planet. We are truly a one of a kind company and we are going to change lives.  Get a America moving is our Mission and we will do it One KeyChain Trainer at at Time.

Email me if you are interested in being part of this new business venture with me. If you are a leader, I look forward to hearing from you. Wait until you see what we do in 2010.

Get ready to help move America.

All the best and much success.
