Why Kathy?

Kathy Greider has been helping clients and friends improve and prosper for over 40 years.  Kathy's passion comes through whenever she works with people.  "Kathy is one of the most selfless and caring people you will ever meet and she routinely is in touch with new ideas, new companies and new networking opportunities that can help you grow and nurture your business," says one client. 

Kathy began her career working for non-profits early on and found a love that hasn't to this day diminished.  She is resolute about helping non-profits succeed as her current work with Out of the Box - Financial Literacy for Teens shows. 

She also works with a myriad of other groups in helping advance causes - from the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, public TV/radio, homeless shelters, environmental issues, Room to Read/Atlanta Chapter and others. Kathy serves on the Board of the Young People Matter program in Decatur.  Recently Kathy has branched out and has volunteered at a number of camps working to help young people understand debt, credit, and budgeting. 

Kathy's background extends into finance - and she became a force to be "accounted for" while working at Penn State College of Medicine.  Over the latter part of her career she moved to the private sector where she traveled the country, assisting medical students and residents understanding and reconciling student loan debts.  She was awarded special recognition by the students themselves for her work and assistance.  Her skills in financial literacy parlay into the work she does now in helping businesses effectively save money and grow their businesses at the same time.

Avid birders and love to tour the country and the world in search of new "life list" birds

Are both beer lovers and have published a great review of best beer pubs their experiences.

Are ardent and frugal travelers who know how to save money, but still have lots of fun!  Love to stay at Bed and Breakfasts and enjoy sharing stories with other BabyBoomers while enjoying the slower pace of B&Bs.

Both are huge fans of sports (Penn State Sports, Pittsburgh Steelers and Duke Basketball)

Kathy and Grant are proud grandparents of two wonderful grandchildren.  Grant and Kathy will soon be publishing books for children.  The books will revolve around the great vacations they have taken with their grandchildren. In the books Grant will tell his usual wonderful stories incorporating his superior knowledge of history and adventures we already know children love.
