In the early 1980’s Karen started her own business in Houston, Texas. She did it on a mere $1000.00 investment that grew into a successful retail chain. The experience she gained laid the foundation for her work today.
In April of 2010 Karen and her Gen X Daughter Meredith collaborated and wrote the book, The Seven Women Project. The Seven Women can be a keynote or workshop for today's Women's Conferences and Leadership retreats. The Seven Women Project celebrates the talents and leadership qualities in women guiding them through work and life's challenges, and successes.
