Jonda Beattie helps clients organize their space and manage their time even when they are looking at downsizing, job changes, health issues, combined households, divorce, children leaving home or returning to it.

Who Are Jonda's Clients?

Jonda Beattie is the owner of Time Space Organization. Time Space Organization has clients who are looking for solutions to problems that have become overwhelming.

Many of the problems involve the use of space. Combined homes with more "stuff" than space, accumulation of "stuff" over many years without adequate purging along the way, things that have accumulated during a grieving time following a death or divorce, children's now empty rooms that can be used for an office or craft room, children moving back into the home after their bedroom has been repurposed, a planned move to a small space are a few residential client transitions.

Businesses that are downsizing or offices that need space utilized in a more efficient manner are also clients.

Other problems involve time. Residential clients who have difficulty finding time for all their commitments, who never have time left over for themselves, who are late for or forget appointments, and feel like they are never caught up come to Time Space Organization for help.

Business clients who have difficulty keeping up with their paper work, don't have time for emails and calls, end up without important items because of the rush to leave home or office, lose time looking for files or notes, and risk losing business because of poor time management come to Time Space Organization for answers.

What Does Jonda Do For These Clients?

Jonda helps clients analyze their current situation. She has them envision what they would like their situation to be at this time. She helps develop a plan with them and for them. She helps implement the plan and then follows up to see that the plan is working. She will set up a maintenance plan if the client wants or needs one.

What Else does Jonda Do?

Jonda also gives presentations and inservices on managing time or organizing space. Because of her background in education she also does school inservices for teachers.

What Does Jonda Like Best About Her Work?

She loves working with the clients and seeing the changes that come about because of the organizational process. She loves hearing "I've been looking for that!" or "I thought that was long gone." She loves seeing the clients get into the rhythm of a new routine.

What Is Jonda's Work Background?

Jonda started off teaching first grade when she was 19 years old. She has taught regular elementary school and special education elementary school. She was a Lead Teacher for Special Education in DeKalb County for 3 years. She took a lot of this experience in listening, working with people, problem solving skills, knowledge of different kinds of learning, a specialty in ADHD, filing and retrieving paper and put it to use as a Professional Organizer. She is active in the Georgia Chapter of NAPO.

On a more personal level, Jonda was also married at 19. She was a teacher and was also going to school to get her degree. She became a military wife when her husband finished his schooling and entered the Army. Her two sons were born in Germany. She started back in the educational field when the boys were in school. She has lived through divorce, remarriage (with a combination of household items),and widowhood. She has had sons leave home and one return for a while. she has lost both of her parents and has helped deal with disposing of their household belongings. She has downsized herself. She has retired and she has started up her Professional Organizing business. Many of the transitions she helps clients organize, she has lived through herself.

Jonda's Hobbies

Jonda loves to travel and go on Elderhostel trips. She likes to work in her yard and ride her bike. When she has time she likes to read for pleasure (not counting the books she is always reading about organizing).
