Jennifer Colter is on the move...!

It  All Begins with a Passion.
Jennifer Colter is passionate about many things. At the top of that list is media--and more specifically, broadcasting. Her second priority is people...and Jennifer's primary mission is to bring timely and useful information and resources to those traditionally underrepresented in order to help them grow personally and professionally.

The Vision.
Jennifer began her career doing street team promotions for major recording artists back in 1991, and co-hosted an urban music show and a women's issues program on her college radio station at James Madison University in Virginia. Also as a student, she worked at the college’s NPR station as a producer and engineer, and spearheaded publicity for various campus events geared toward minority students.

Always Strive.
Embarking on her career path, Jennifer later worked in both marketing and production capacities at B.E.T., CBS, The Interface Media Group and PBS. Additionally, she held positions at several independent record labels overseeing A&R, publicity, operations, and radio promotions. 

Pay It Forward.
In addition to developing shows for iBusinesschannel.com and profitabilitychannel.com and overseeing the marketing initiatives, Jennifer is an on-camera host for a variety of programs both business and entertainment-related, and she has been invited to speak on a variety of panels for conferences in the entertainment industry. More recently, Jennifer was invited to be an Advisory Board Member for DECA, a student-driven organization that empowers high school students and prepares them for careers as entrepreneurs, business leaders, and marketing professionals.

 
About Me.
She holds a B.A. in Media Arts & Design with a concentration in broadcast production, marketing and media management. Originally from Philadelphia, Jennifer now happily resides in Atlanta, and enjoys business and social networking, internet researching, travel, and cooking.
