Erin McGraw is a graduate of the Petrie School of Music at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, where she graduated with honors.

Erin is educated in music history, music theory, vocal pedagogy, and opera. Erin is well versed in the fundamentals of choral and instrumental conducting. Erin also has experience outside of voice in piano and guitar.

 

 

 

Erin McGraw’s musical experience includes the featured roles of Agnes in Der Freischütz Scene, Suor Angelica in a full production of Suor Angelica, Dorothée in La Cenerentola Trio Scene, Fedra in L’Egisto Scene, and Second Women in Dido and Aeneas Scene. Erin was a member of the chorus for productions of The Marriage of Figaro and La Bohème at Converse College. Erin was also accepted to and attended the Washington Opera Institute for Young Singers.

Beyond music, Erin McGraw has participated in many activities and leadership positions. Erin was a member of the Converse College NCAA Division II Tennis team, winning Teammate of the Year Award. Erin’s leadership positions include President of the Gavel Chapter of Mortar Board, Student Government Association Vice President at Converse, Vice President of Rotaract and the Class of 2008, and 2nd Vice President of the Delta Omicron Music Fraternity. Erin was an active participant of the Converse College Institute for Leadership and a Student Senate Representative for two years. Erin was also a member of the Residential Life Staff as a Community Advisor for three years. She was recognized for her hard work, community building efforts, and creative programming in 2008 being awarded the Community Advisor of the Year.

 

Currently, Erin is employed as Evening Program Director at Camp La Jolla in California. Erin McGraw’s employment history has included Administrative Assistant at the Patel Conservatory in Tampa, FL, where she helped organize and manage 80 programs for children and adults. Erin has also worked as Event Manager at Tneve, Inc. in Newnan, GA. Erin played a key role in planning and executing a multitude of events as project coordinator.

Erin McGraw is also passionate about serving her community. Erin has actively served a number of charities including the local food pantry, the Special Olympics, Relay for Life, and the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, along with a variety of local charities in the Spartanburg Community.

Today, Erin is actively working to continue to develop her musical skills and talent to further her musi cal education and career.
