Diane Harris is the Area Manger for Dale Carnegie of Georgia in north and northeast Georgia. In this role, she collaborates with local businesses to improve their business results by training key employees. She is ranked in the top 5% in Georgia and in the top 50 world-wide.
Diane joined the Dale Carnegie organization in 1998. She is a certified facilitator and trainer of the Dale Carnegie Course and has been a featured speaker with the CDC, FBI, Wal-Mart and teen leadership classes. Diane has been recognized globally for her work with America's Home Place, the City of Rome, Wal-Mart and other businesses primarily in Athens, Cartersville, Gainesville, and Rome.
Before Carnegie, Diane spent 10 years in the property/casualty and health care insurance industries. She was responsible for the design and delivery of soft-skill and technical raining, implementing change initiatives, and coordinating agency licensing requirements with state governments.
Diane has a Bachelorís degree from Kennesaw State University. She is a Rotarian in the Etowah Rotary Club in Cartersville, a member of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni, multiple Chambers of Commerce, and a 2005 graduate of L.E.A.D. Athens.
Diane and her husband, Steve, are founders and ministers of W.O.W. (Worship on Water) a non-denominational worship service on Lake Allatoona, where they also love to boat. She is also an actively involved in the Emmaus community, a 4-day spiritual retreat in north Georgia. Last and certainly not least, Diane is the proud grandmother of Alex and Greyson.
