David Wayne Lawrence

David Lawrence is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with degrees in music education, theology; and psychology. His other studies from Jersey City State College, Georgia State University, and Recording Institute of America include audio engineering, communications, and business management.

David has been teaching Piano-By-Ear over 25 years and has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, South America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Europe conducting workshops, intensive schools, and seminars. Thousands have learned how to play by ear in a short period of time because of David's simple, thorough, and practical approach to teaching. He truly possesses a God-given gift for music education.

David likens learning music to the way we learn to talk. First, we learn how to imitate the sounds we hear. Then, we learn how to read and write letters. And as music teacher, author, musician, songwriter, and conference speaker, David Lawrence has literally touched the lives of thousands of people around the world. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Antonia, and six children.
