Daryl A. Perkins

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Daryl Perkins is a Master Trainer in 3 of Dale Carnegie’s core programs. 

Daryl first joined Dale Carnegie Training in 1983 after a very successful career in municipal government as a certified police supervisor.  After leaving the city position, Daryl worked as a District Manager for a large national contract services organization.  With over 350 employees, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations.  He was charged with growing the business through organized and dynamic sales presentations, combined with exemplary customer service to retain large accounts.  Under his leadership, the District was continually in the top 5% in the company.

When he first joined the Ralph Nichols Corporation, Dale Carnegie’s largest and most successful franchise, Daryl was actively involved in sales and instruction.  He moved to St. Louis, Missouri and assisted in the hiring, screening, and development of Trainers.  After several years in the assistant position, he became the Manager of Instruction.  His responsibilities entailed auditing classroom instruction, identifying new Trainers and developing them to exceed the needs of our ultimate customer, the organization.  During his tenure with the St. Louis based Carnegie operation, he was part of the management team that earned the President’s Cup four consecutive years.  His international experience has been focused on franchise Trainer development and increasing the brand image worldwide.

 CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Mr. Perkins develops Trainers assisting tenured franchisees and start-up operations around the world. 

•             Curriculum Director for the Dale Carnegie Course

•             Assist in developing new seminars and field testing

•             Assist in the creation, design, and development of programs 
   to exceed the needs of our customers

•             Partner with Dale Carnegie Course Brand Manager in
               expanding the Brand internationally

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS

•             B.A. in Social Sciences from Madonna University

•             M.A. in Criminal Justice Studies from University of
               Detroit/Mercy

•             Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. – licensed  Trainer in all  
   programs and Master Trainer in 3 Core Programs
