CEO and Chief Talent Officer, Barbara Giamanco

Talent Builders CEO Barbara Giamanco capped a corporate career at Microsoft, where she led and trained sales teams and coached executives, before establishing Talent Builders, Inc. in 2002. She has more than 25 years of experience in selling to enterprise, mid-market and retail accounts and knows what it’s like to walk in the shoes of the sales person. During her career, her accounts have included American Express Worldwide, Motorola, Best Buy, Circuit City, Anheuser-Busch, Target, and Honeywell.

Since establishing Talent Builders, Barb has worked with organizations to build high performing executive teams, develop leadership bench strength, improve communication, increase sales, hire the right people the first time, decrease turnover and improve employee retention.

A well known keynote speaker, author and professional with over 25 years of business experience, Barb is a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute – accredited by the International Coach Federation. She is an Inscape Certified DiSC® Trainer and maintains her people expertise through memberships in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Society of Training & Development, Technology Association of Georgia, Women in Technology, Microsoft Alumni Network, International Coach Federation, and the Georgia Coach Association.

Barb serves as a Sales & Marketing Faculty Expert with the Profitability Channel. In addition, she hosts Talent Builders Radio and WMN Radio each month.

Barbara resides in Metro Atlanta. An active member of her community, Barb was recently appointed to the State Council for SHRM in Georgia. Barb also serves on the board of directors for the Georgia Coach Association (GCA) and the Workplace Learning Society for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). In 2006-2007, she served as the Advisory Council Chairman for Congressman Tom Price, M.D. In 2005, Barb served as Business and Economy Chair for Congressman Price. Barb is an alumni member of Leadership Sandy Springs. She has served as Chairman of the Board for Keep Sandy Springs North Fulton Beautiful and board member of the Sandy Springs Business Association.

COO and Chief Learning Architect, R. Mark Moore

R. Mark Moore is the COO and Chief Learning Architect at Talent Builders, Inc. In his role as Learning Architect, Mark helps clients develop and sustain an overall learning strategy which utilizes technology. The solutions developed by Talent Builders may be deployed using existing infrastructure, or may utilize new technology Talent Builders recommends as part of an overall solution.

Most recently, Mark was an eLearning Strategist and Human Resources Technology expert at Verizon Telecom. Mark was responsible for overseeing the initialization, development, and implementation of Human Resources related applications – especially those concerning the delivery of training. Moore began his Verizon career in 1997 a Manager of Technical Training for GTE Wireless in Atlanta, GA. He assumed increasing responsibilities within the Human Resources department and was named Manager of International Training for Verizon upon close of the merger between GTE and Bell Atlantic. In 2001, Moore joined the Human Resources Technology organization to re-focus specifically on applying technology to solve learning and performance needs. Prior to joining Verizon, Mark spent six years developing training solutions for Aetna in Connecticut.

Moore has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Bloomsburg in Pennsylvania. He is a published author and recognized in Who’s Who. He is the serving finance committee chair for the Technology Association of Georgia’s Workplace Learning Society.
