Executive Trainer and Coach Andre is the co-founder of The Purple Podium, a training/coaching organization designed for the politically active and aspirant, business executive or leader of an organization looking to bring their public speaking skills to the top level of performance and professionalism. Andre is also the owner/operator of Andre O’Brien Enterprises, Inc. a Training/Coaching organization which delivers training programs nationally, that continue to exceed the expectations of companies such as Ameriprise Financial Services, Assurant Solutions, Atlantic Bancorp of America, Bank of America, California State Automobile Association, Deloitte & Touche, Thyssen Krupp Elevator and many more.
In addition, as a Certified Dale Carnegie Trainer/Coach, he specializes in training executives at all levels, on becoming more effective Sales and Management Leaders. He delivers programs such as The Sales Advantage, How to Sell Like a Pro and Leadership Training for Managers. Andre has attained the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster, with Toastmasters International and is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Sales and Management Professional
Andre continues to play a significant role as a member of the management team of the Wireline Division of Sprint/Nextel Corp. In this role, he Supervises a team responsible for managing the global repair process for Corporate and Government accounts with issues regarding Voice, Data, and IP services.
Political Activity Politically, Andre is a graduate of the nationally renowned, Coverdell Leadership Institute. From county membership chairman to State Delegate Andre has served the State in many ways. Recently, via Georgia’s print and television media, Andre successfully advocated for sweeping new education legislation. Georgia House Bill 1133, signed into law by Governor Sonny Perdue, provides an opportunity for private citizens and corporations to make tax deductible donations to a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships for private schools across the state. Now public school children can use this scholarship money to fund a private school education, without reducing the funds available for the public school system. This is a historic achievement and a win for education system in Georgia.
Andre has been in Sales, Management and Leadership positions for all 20 years of his professional career. From Wall Street in New York City to Peachtree Street in Atlanta Georgia, he has served as Wealth Management Financial Advisor for firms such as Merrill Lynch and SunTrust Investment Services. In these roles, Andre managed the assets of high net worth individual and corporate relationships. With the daily utilization of effective wealth management processes, his clients continued to enjoy competitive rates of return. Andre held Federal/State licenses which allowed him to operate as a principle in addition to executing securities and insurance transactions.
Andre cherishes the time he invest in his community. He has served on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of Prevent Child Abuse Georgia. He has served as PTA President for his daughter's elementary school and currently he is an elected member of the School Council.
