	<title>America is the Greatest Nation but it takes Work.</title>

Just look at GE for example, without going into too great a detail, when any company is capable of being positioned in getting government kickbacks, grants or whatever one wishes to call it, and at the same time owns media outlets which can sway public opinion, that is a clear conflict of interest and yes, it can be criminal. We still have choices in America &amp;ndash; that is until socialism fully engulfs our culture, but it will take work, hard work and the knowledge that we have so much potential.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Today we have the same opportunity except we are led by the media to give up and let government control what companies do and as a result, over the last 3 months we have seen the government position themselves to the point where they now control over 30% of corporations and just about all the banks, claiming the people now own them. No matter what your political affiliation, everyone should be able to see and acknowledge that is what socialism is all about, the taking over of businesses and institutions on behalf of the people&amp;hellip; giving it back to the people. I am appalled with our education institution&amp;rsquo;s system of brainwashing rather than educating our young minds. What ever happened with providing knowledge to inspire creativity rather than activism? &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;There are countless books written on how to succeed, how to create wealth, how to live the life we all want for not just ourselves, but for our children and our children&amp;rsquo;s children. And when I refer to wealth, many misunderstand the meaning of that word. Wealth can be monetarily measured, but true wealth comes in the form of a personal perspective. Health, family, spiritual, religious, and there are countless more which actually are seen by the majority of people more important than money. Don&amp;rsquo;t get me wrong, money is as important as oxygen, we all need it to survive, but it is not at the top of the list of what is most important in our lives.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

	<title>The Future is Now!</title>

	<description>&lt;p&gt;I am reading a great book from Zig Ziglar called &amp;lsquo;See You at the Top&amp;rsquo;. On the cover it reads &amp;ldquo;The &amp;lsquo;How To&amp;rsquo; book that gives you a &amp;lsquo;Check Up&amp;rsquo; from the &amp;lsquo;Neck Up&amp;rsquo; to eliminate &amp;lsquo;Stinkin Thinkin&amp;rsquo; and AVOID &amp;lsquo;Hardening of the Attitudes&amp;rsquo;.&amp;rdquo; We are hearing everyone everywhere blaming everyone else for our current economic situation&amp;hellip; but has anyone really taken the time to evaluate what we really have to do in order to turn things around? OK, so let&amp;rsquo;s stop blaming people, stop wanting the take-over of institutions, businesses, and anything else the government would like to get their hands on, and look at how we as Americans can move our country forward. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a section &amp;ldquo;The Future is Now&amp;rdquo;, Zig Ziglar states &amp;ldquo;An exciting new field of psychology has been developed which doesn&amp;rsquo;t dig up all the old garbage of the past. It doesn&amp;rsquo;t &amp;lsquo;saw sawdust&amp;rsquo; by harping on the problems of the past. Instead, it deals with the hope of the future. It is not problem conscious, it is solution conscious and its results have been tremendous.&amp;rdquo; He also looks at Dr. Glasser who&amp;rsquo;s program was &amp;ldquo;&amp;hellip; working with youngsters who have never known anything but frustration, defeat, disappointment and failures&amp;rdquo; and who saw incredible results by taking the positive approach and providing these young minds with encouragement. But encouragement and positive attitude is harder than you may think, especially today. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Zig&amp;rsquo;s next section is titled &amp;ldquo;The Loser&amp;rsquo;s Limp&amp;rdquo; where he presents a very interesting perspective on how we all give up way to easily. He asks how many times have we seen a football game where the offensive player breaks away with the football and the defensive play, in hot pursuit, realizes he just isn&amp;rsquo;t going to catch him and suddenly &amp;ldquo;pulls up limping.&amp;rdquo;? Do we sympathize with the defensive player saying &amp;ldquo;&amp;hellip; no wonder the poor guy couldn&amp;rsquo;t catch him. Look, he&amp;rsquo;s crippled.&amp;rdquo;? This is what Zig refers to as &amp;ldquo;The Loser&amp;rsquo;s Limp&amp;rdquo;. This is part of what gets in our way&amp;hellip; how many of us are victims to what we hear on the news? Recently I was at my wife&amp;rsquo;s friend&amp;rsquo;s husbands&amp;rsquo; birthday party and many of the people there we negative, complaining about the economy and who&amp;rsquo;s to blame for our country&amp;rsquo;s woes. Is it any wonder, with all the negative news, that we have become a nation suffering Loser&amp;rsquo;s Limp? Blaming everyone else? When the birthday boy was asked when he was going to retire, his reply was he is forced to working longer because his union pension had suffered due to the economy. This is a person who has been a huge union supporter&amp;hellip; but who is responsible for who, and whose should have been responsible for his money, him or his union? When asked why not retire and do something that he might want to do and make good money at the same time&amp;hellip; all to often we hear someone reply with, &amp;ldquo;oh I not as lucky as you&amp;rdquo; or &amp;ldquo;your just lucky to have been at the right place at the right time&amp;rdquo; which leads to Zig Ziglar&amp;rsquo;s next section. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;ldquo;The Natural Born&amp;rdquo;&amp;hellip; have we ever heard anyone say I&amp;rsquo;m not a born salesman, or a born doctor, lawyer, etc.? I know I have! There is a great speech given by the CEO of Market America, JR Ridinger called &amp;ldquo;The Dash&amp;rdquo;. In it JR talks about what we do between the date of birth and the day we die&amp;hellip; we see on most tombstones two dates separated by a dash&amp;hellip; that dash is what we did from the day we were born until the day we died. We have never seen where it was written that a baby was born a doctor, a lawyer, a salesman but we often see it written where a doctor, a lawyer, a salesman passed away. It was their education, their training, the applying of their talents that gets them where they had aspired, where they had dreamt. Zig Ziglar believes regardless of our &amp;ldquo;lot&amp;rdquo; in life that we can build something solid on it&amp;hellip; if only we &amp;ldquo;strive&amp;rdquo; for it. I cannot tell you how often my father used to tell me &amp;ldquo;if only you just applied yourself, you can do anything.&amp;rdquo; It all starts with hope and having confidence in oneself and not relinquishing it to anyone. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;ldquo;Prisoners of Hope&amp;rdquo; is the last section from Zig Ziglar&amp;rsquo;s book that I am sharing that ties it all together. &amp;ldquo;Surely, one of the saddest experiences in life is to hear someone say, &amp;lsquo;If I could talk, run, jump, sing, dance, think&amp;hellip; like him or her&amp;hellip;&amp;rsquo; If I just had someone else&amp;rsquo;s ability, what wouldn&amp;rsquo;t I do?&amp;rdquo; That word &amp;ldquo;if&amp;rdquo; takes all the power away allowing us to rationalize where we are, our lot in life and enable us to hope things can be different. We become Prisoners of Hope, people who hope that some day things will change for the better, always looking elsewhere such as other people, institutions, our jobs, our careers, or yes, even our government. They hope for that big break that will change their life rather than seeking out the opportunity that will change their life. Zig Ziglar makes it very clear, &amp;ldquo;&amp;hellip;you already have the ability necessary for success.&amp;rdquo; History has shown time and time again that we all have within us the ability to achieve anything we desire, if only we use what we have. Look to Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, the Wright Brothers, and countless others who, against all odds, persisted and became successful. JR Ridinger had a vision, a vision where literally anyone could become successful no mater what their lot in life. A vision to where a systemized, duplicate-able business model could turn any individual, with the &amp;ldquo;desire&amp;rdquo;, into a successful business person. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today that vision has become a reality. And just like many American communities, Jim’s neighborhood has their fair share of pranksters that have nothing better to do than to torment the family pet and yes unfortunately there are on occasion other events taking place that are worse than those of the community prankster’s. On the lighter side however, there are great restaurants, theater groups, family entertainment activities, parks, evening bistros showcasing local talents, and I could go on and on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style=&quot;FONT-SIZE: 10pt&quot;&gt;&lt;FONT face=Verdana&gt;Jim has lived in this new neighborhood for 10 years now, and he knows mostly where everything is. A static Website… what’s that? Probably the best way to describe it is from a single layer perspective. A website usually reflects information specific to and from organizations, institutions, businesses or in the case of a neighborhood, its community’s or association’s website which is our focus. Static information means content on their Website that is one dimensional, a single source layer if you will focusing on the local community’s events, requests, family matters, zoning/real estate information, nigh-life/entertainment, news, etc. And the only way the information gets onto the community’s website is from their beloved webmaster. But where does he/she get their content? They have to rely on others to give them the information and all this means time taken out of their all ready busy schedule. So you can just imagine just how often information is &lt;B style=&quot;mso-bidi-font-weight: normal&quot;&gt;not passed&lt;/B&gt; on to the one person who can update the Website.
